Key Skills Deployed

  1. Stakeholder management: During the design phase I had collaborate with the architect extensively to manage expectations on what was possible within cost constrains on various design details. These details included how thin the balustrade post could be to the and details around the mezzanine level in the garage.

  2. Communication: detailing all site instructions in site reports, email correspondences, and verbally communicating with builders my site instructions and seeking to understand their challenges.

  3. Structural design: The structure involved design of intricate timber systems such as the balustrade, mezzanine floor. I had to apply design and research skills to design these structural systems. Also, applied a lot of my technical design knowledge For the design of the masonry walls to timber wall framing connection.
