Project Summary (January 2020 - December 2020)

This was a 14 block Social Housing project developed by the Salvation Army. Architect was Fat Parrot, and construction company was Meridian.

The development comprised two types of blocks a

• Two storey block of flats with 2 units on each floor, and

• Single level bungalow of 2 semidetached units.

I was the structural engineer responsible for the construction monitoring and main point of contact for all thing structural engineering from foundation to roof.

The structural system employed is a reinforced concrete waffle slab foundation, SIP Formance panel walls and roof panels, timber floor joists, steel overhanging balconies framing with timber joists.
