Project Summary (October 2018 to March 2021)

The project is a David Reid Homes development, the architects are Respond Architects (Prendos Ltd) and we Constructure were the structural engineers.

The development comprises of 7 three-storey semi-detached residential units. The units were constructed from timber lightweight framing which incorporated some steel framing, lightweight external cladding, timber roof trusses and a Cupolex raft slab on grade (by others). Inter-tenancy walls are timber lightweight system.

There are essentially two types of Units, which we will refer to as single garage units and double garage units. There are to be 3 number single garage units and 4No. double garage units. The layout of each unit is similar across the development but, enough differences are present to require some

In conjunction with a chattered engineer I was responsible for the conceptual and structural design and building consent structural design, resolution of council RFIs during consent, and final construction monitoring.
